Our Founder

I’m Libby Minihan, the owner of Encourage, and a strategic management, leadership and team development specialist.

I tackle everything with a pragmatic approach and a strong commercial focus. I have proven experience in designing impactful development interventions and am an empathetic yet challenging facilitator, with the ability to inspire trust in even the most sceptical learner.

Our Founder

I’m Libby Minihan, the owner of Encourage, and a strategic management, leadership and team development specialist.

Before founding Encourage, I worked for PepsiCo, starting in their £1.5 billion, 5500 employee UK operation before moving to the European business. I started my career as a HR generalist and progressed through a series of increasingly more senior roles.

Driven by my passion for people and their development I decided to move into a learning and development role. As Learning and Development Manager for Europe, I partnered closely with leaders at board level to identify future business critical skills, designed learning interventions to develop these skills and optimise business performance.

I set up Encourage as I wanted to bring my passion, experience and insight lead solutions to a wider audience. I am proud to say that my extensive client base has grown entirely by word of mouth. At the heart of my work I believe that every individual has the capability to learn, grow and change for the better. Sometimes it just takes a little ‘encourage-ment’.
